Terry Fox was a young Canadian 🏒 athlete who inspired millions 🌎! In 1977, when he was only 18 years old, doctors diagnosed him with bone cancer 🦴💔. Sadly, his right leg was amputated 🦿, but he refused to give up! Instead of feeling sorry for himself, Terry decided to run 🏃♂️ across Canada 🇨🇦 to raise money 💰 for cancer research.

But in September, he fell ill 😞. The cancer had spread to his lungs 🫁, and he had to give up the marathon 😢.
